| Welcome to Happy Hour with the Laughing Meditator.com |
What are the health benefits of belly laughing? Our muscles relax . The physical tension of the day leaves our bodies. Our energy increases. As our muscles relax energy that was used for muscle contraction is freed---we feel energized with its release. Our breathing becomes deep, free and easy. Our respiratory diagphram is freed of constriction, our blood is oxygenated, and our lungs benefit. Our immune system is boosted . Harmful hormones are diminished and healthy ones increase. Our pain is alleviated. Pain relieving endorphins increase and circulate in the blood; and laughing distracts us from our pain. Our blood pressure is lowered and cardiac health improves. Blood pressure rises while laughing, but it has been found that the end result is lowered blood pressure. Our spirit elevates, our emotions feel balanced, our life perspective broadens, our creativity increases and thus we are better prepared to meet life's challenges. |

| Laugh your way to meditation! Bring deep relaxation to your bodymindspirit with Laughter! Laughter naturally quiets the mind, creates openness, allows us to be receptive, releases tension, and transforms our emotions. |
| Laughter is contagious and it makes us attractive! |
The more you learn to laugh without a reason to laugh the easier it becomes to laugh spontaneously to transform your bodymindspirit. |
The Six Healing Sounds: After a good laugh practicing The Six Healing Sounds with simple movements will continue to clear our organs and free the qi to circulate. The Microcosmic Orbit Meditation: Qi needs to move! Once the mind is quiet, our emotions transformed and our breathing freed it is easy to experience the qi--the life force--and to circulate it in ways that will help our bodymindspirit be healthy. The Inner Smile Meditation: After laughing it's easy to do the Inner Smile Meditation to benefit our digestion, our nervous system and our brain. Please note: the above meditations are taught in other classes separate from the Laughing Meditation, but elements of any one of them may be included. |
