- A Comprehensive Integrative Approach to Acupuncture.
My practice of acupuncture evolves out of over 25 years experience as a health
professional that began in 1984 with my practice of integrative and medical massage
therapy. Since then I have provided more than 15,000 treatment sessions for pain and
stress. As a massage therapist I integrated the best techniques to bring about the fastest
results to relieve pain, release trigger points and myofascial constraint, and reduce
overall stress for the patient. Now in my practice of Classical Chinese Acupuncture I
provide a comprehensive integrative approach that combines different styles of
acupuncture and massage into my treatment sessions to get the fastest, most effective,
and longest lasting results.
- Treatment Focus: Multi-Symptom Relief
I focus my treatments on multi-symptom relief whenever possible by treating the signs and
symptoms of my patient's primary complaint as well as the underlying root pattern. This
helps the body self-regulate and naturally promotes the healing process.
- LIfe-Long Energy-Based Practitioner
I have both an Eastern and a Western knowledge of the body and my understanding of the
Eastern concept of qi is based upon 12 years of practice of qi gong and 35 years practice
of energy-focused meditation. My interest in energy-based healing practices led me to
become a Certified Reiki Master (1998), Certified Healing Tao Instructor (2004), and
Certified Chi Nei Tsang Practitioner (2006).
